This was supposed to be signed at the National in Chicago. It was a backroom deal. But the card was missed by Alex Rodriguez, and he left without signing it.
Luckily, the guy I was working though talked to Rodriguez’s agent, and he promised to take the card and get it signed during a private event the next week. I was…not optimistic that it was going to get done. But sure enough, two weeks later, here it is.
I am a little disappointed that is was not his cleaner, full autograph. But it’s way better than what you get in-person, so I am pretty happy with it overall.
Here is my little A-Rod collection as it stands today. I think I am good for a while.
