This set is not cheap. But if knocks out three less well-known former Cleveland players. Well, at least now well-known for their time in Cleveland.
SP Jack Morris – Morris spent 18 seasons in the majors, was selected to five All-Star teams, won 254 games, and three World Series rings. He was selected to the Hall of Fame in 2018. But his last season in the majors was with the 1994 Cleveland Indians, where he went 10-6 with a 5.60 ERA before being released by the Tribe just days before the strike.
C – Lance Parrish – Parrish spent 19 seasons in the majors, and was an eight-time All-Star, six-time Silver Slugger, and won three Gold Gloves. In 1993 he signed with Cleveland as a free agent, hit .200 with the big league club, and was released within two weeks. He would retire two years later.
IF – Tom Brookens – Brookens spent 12 seasons in the majors, the majority of it with the Detroit Tigers. He was a solid, if below-average player (career 83 OPS+). His last season in the majors was in 1990, with Cleveland. He would only hit .266 in 154 at-bats and was released at the end of the season.
