Brad Lincoln was the 4th overall pick of the 2006 draft out of the University of Houston.
- I followed him because of his college career, particularly his junior season in 2016. He went 12-2 with a 1.69 ERA/0.96 WHIP. He struck out 152 over 127.2 innings. Very impressive numbers.
He quickly became one of the best pitching prospects in the organization. From 2006-2009 he would rank as one of the Pirate’s top 5 prospects.
He pitched relatively well in some brief stints in the majors from 2012 and 2013 but was never really able to stick. He retired following the 2015 season.
