Carl Yastrzemski had an amazing career. When he retired following the 1983 season, he put together quite a resume over his 22-seasons in the big leagues:
-18 All-Star selections
-Sevel Gold Gloves
-The batting titles
-1967 Triple Crown winner and MVP
-Retired with an 130 OPS+
Yastrzemski retired with 96.5 WAR, placing him at number #22 overall.
And, of coure, he was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1989.
