Pitcher Rafael Perez made the majors in 2006 with Cleveland and spent the next seven seasons in the majors.
In 2007 Perez was the left-handed battery mate to right-hander Rafael Betancourt, who together made one of the most impressive bullpen duos in the game and a big reason that the Tribe won 96-games and nearly went to the World Series.
Like many pen arms, Perez’s career was short. While he only had one season with a sub-100 ERA+, he was allowed to walk as a free agent in 2012 and would never see the majors again.
All told, Perez would go 21-12 during his major league career, all of it in Cleveland, with a 3.64 ERA/116 ERA+.
