From the Collection: Trea Turner, of, Philadelphia Phillies
Trea Turner has a fantastic 2022 season. With the Dodgers, he hit .298/.343/.466 with 21 HR and 27 stolen bases. Good for a 121 OPS+. He also got his second All-Star selection. It came at a great time since as a free agent this winter he signed an 11-year, $300 million contract with the Phillies.
I have always been partial to Turner since I was able to get his autograph through the mail back in 2014 when he was at North Carolina State University. That summer he would be the 13th overall selection of the Padres, though would only spend roughly a season with the organization before being sent to Washington as part of the massive 11-player trade between the Padres, Nationals, and Rays.
