SP Zac Gallen went 4-10 this season with the Diamondbacks. That might not look great, but his numbers were actually not that bad. Over 121.1 innings he only allowed 108 hits, while striking out 139 and only walking 49–good for an 99 ERA+ and 1.294 WHIP. He is only one season removed from a season where he finished 9th in NL Cy Young Award voting, and in only 25 years old. So there is certainly every reason to be optimistic for his 2022 season.
