AJ Block is one of the Cougar’s starting pitchers for the 2020 season. He was solid in his first start of the season, going 7 innings against CSU Bakersfield, allowing 6 hits and 1 ER, striking out 4. It a bummer he did not get the win–this is his fourth year of D1 ball and he only has a single win.
Block is a senior, so there is a very good chance that he will get drafted this June. If it does happen, it won’t be the first time. While in high school he was drafted in the 39th-round by the Chicago Cubs.
