- Alberto Guerrero was signed as an international free agent by Marlins in July 2014 out of Panama.
- This season he spent all of 2018 at Low-A pitching out of the rotation. He more than held his own: over 69.2 innings he only allowed 61 hits while striking out 63. Good for a 3.49 ERA/1.191 WHIP.
- He managed these numbers while also running about 1.5 years younger than the league average. So that is good.
- He did not make the Marlins Top 30 coming into the 2018 season, but he is certainly one to watch in 2019.
