Dylan Thomas has a very good 2018 campaign with Hawaii. The 2017 Big West Conference Freshman Pitcher of the Year went 3-2 with a 1.85 ERA. He allowed only 27 hits over 39 innings, striking out 43 and only walking four. He has an opponent batting average of only .200. That’s…very good.
This past July he was drafted by the Twins in the 38th round but, passed on signing and will be returning to Hawaii in 2019.

This summer he pitched with the Hyannis Harbor Hawks in the Cape Cod League. Over 27.2 innings he went 3-0 with a 1.19 ERA. He struck out 43 while only walking five. And it did not go unnoticed: he was named the Russ Ford Outstanding Relief Pitcher.
