From the Field: Kade Bragg, p, Angelo State
…
As the biggest D2 baseball fan and autograph collector in the state of Hawaii, (please hold your applause until the end) it’s always neat to research a player, get his autograph, and then see him get drafted. Earlier this season I was lucky enough to get Angelo State pitcher Kade Bragg [ _kbragg ], who after a dominant season went on to be drafted by the Twins in the 17th round. Very cool.

About that dominant season: Bragg went 15-1 with two saves and a 1.20 ERA. Over 104.2 innings he only allowed 63 hits while striking out 124, and held batters to a .171 AVG. He was the ace on an ASU team that would win the NCAA Division II baseball national championship.
