Tyler Baum is one of UNC’s top pitchers and is having a very nice season. While he has a 4.03 ERA, it is not really a good indication of how well he has pitched. On the season he leads the team with 29 innings pitched, allowing only 23 hits with 34 K’s. Of note, he is holding batters to only a .219 AVG.
Those are very impressive numbers. There is a reason that he is considered one of the ACC’s top 10 draft prospects of 2019.
