New Arrival: Alay Lago, 2B, Cleburne Railroaders

Infielder Alay Alago is a really interesting player.

Since 2018 Alay Alago has been playing Indy ball in the American Association, and has been one of the best hitters in the league. In 2019 he won the American Association batting crown while playing for the Sioux Fall Canaries, hitting .339/.386/.531 with 13 HR. His numbers were very similar in both 2020 (with Sioux Falls) and 2021 (with the Cleburne Railroaders). These numbers are like nothing he has put up before, either in his four seasons in high-level Cuban ball or two seasons in the Braves organization. He has clearly found his niche.
