Jacob deGrom won the 2018 Cy Young Award. He did it despite winning 10 games. which if you know how these votes (and voters) work, is very impressive. Luckily voters looked past his win total and looked at the numbers that count: over 217 innings he only allowed 152 hits while striking out 269. He only allowed 46 walks. All this was good for a league-leading 1.70 ERA and 216 ERA+.
I was able to get this autograph for roughly $25, which is a steal considering a private signing with him would run north of $100.
