New Arrival: Tyler Krieger, if, Cleveland Indians

I had a thing for Krieger a couple seasons ago. He was having a really nice season with Lake County in 2016 and I sent a bunch of stuff out on consignment. He refused to sign any sweet spot cards. I scrambled to get together some pictures to get done and finally did knock out a couple items by the end of the season. I remember really being frustrated since it had been a long time–since Lindor–that a decent Indians prospect refused signature cards.

Since that 2016 campaign, he has had…a rough go of it. He played in Akron in both 2016 and 2017 and has struggled to find any consistency–though, he recently went on a 24-game hitting streak.

Krieger was a 4th overall pick, and the talent is certainly there. The recent hit steak hopefully is a sign of things to come and gets the bump to AAA before too long.
