I am a big Kyle Tucker fan. I was able to get him in person back in 2016 when he was with the Low-A 2016 Quad Cities River Bandits. So it’s been fun following his career ever since.
Tucker has, of course, come a long way since then. He would make the majors in 2016 as one of the most touted prospects in the minors, and over the last two years has become one of the best players in the American League. In 2020 and 2021, Tucker hit .275/.344/.516 with a 137 OPS+. In both campaigns, he hit 30 HR. And this past season he was selected to his first All-Star team and awarded his first Gold Glove. And, of course, he got himself a Championship ring with the Astros. Considering he is only 25, he looks to have a very long and exciting career ahead of him.
