I am finally getting around to posting some of my non-Topps Cleveland sets onto my portfolio. Starting off with the team-issued 1948 Cleveland Indians team picture pack. I bought this set years ago, and I remember it did not set me back that much. But, it seems that like most things, it’s gotten pretty expensive over the last couple of years. While the set is cool, the highlight for me is the photos of Larry Doby and Satchel Paige, two players that played huge roles in breaking the color barrier in major league baseball and helping the Indians win the World Series.
